Cedar Grove Pride Event and Flag Raising Set for June 1
A family-oriented Pride event at Panther Park will include children's activities and a flag raising in support of the local LGBTQ+ community.
Cedar Grove residents are invited to a family-oriented Pride event and flag raising on Monday, June 1, at Panther Park.
The event is scheduled for 6:30 to 8 p.m., with the Pride flag set to be raised promptly at 7 p.m. Organizers say the gathering will include activities for children as the community comes together in support of local LGBTQ+ residents.
The event's theme, "Love, Inclusion and Diversity," reflects a broader invitation for families, neighbors and allies to take part in a welcoming public celebration.
The gathering will be held at Panther Park in Cedar Grove. Residents planning to attend should arrive before 7 p.m. if they would like to be present for the flag raising.
