Recreation Department Expands Spring and Summer Programs

Cedar Grove offers diverse fitness and wellness opportunities for residents of all ages.

The Cedar Grove Recreation Department has expanded its spring and summer 2026 program offerings, providing residents with a variety of classes and activities designed to support active, healthy lifestyles. New and returning programs include adult yoga, pickleball, open gym, strength training, and water workouts.

"Recreation programs do more than keep people fit," said Recreation Director Marisa Landolfi-Jefferson. "They build friendships, create routine, and help people feel more connected to their town." The department intentionally designed offerings to serve different interests and fitness levels, ensuring something available for nearly every resident.

Adult open gym provides drop-in basketball and recreational play at Community Park. Yoga classes, available multiple times weekly, serve those seeking flexibility and mindfulness practices. Pickleball continues to grow in popularity, with dedicated court time for players of all skill levels. Water workouts offer low-impact fitness for those with mobility concerns or a preference for aquatic exercise.

Registration is underway through the Recreation Department's online system. Program costs remain modest, reflecting the township's commitment to making recreation accessible. Classes begin at dates staggered throughout spring and early summer to accommodate family schedules.
